Spice Rack is now closed

Spice Rack ceased trading on Sunday July 4th.
It was entirely their decision to leave at that time.
We're hoping to get the new restaurant up and running in 4 to 6 weeks- we've spent nearly two weeks cleaning the kitchen, about another week to go.
Then it's new equipment, new furniture, stocking up, and we're readt to roll!!!!!

It doesnt sound good that its taken you 2 weeks to clean the kitchen with another week to go- what sort of state was it in? No wonder I had Delhi belly the one and only time i visited Spice Rack!!

We're doing a thorough, deep clean.
That means getting the light fittings down, and cleaning behind them, having the extraction hood and flue cleaned, stripping the gas pipes back to copper, etc...
That's not the sort of cleaning that you do routinely.
Then we need to redecorate and have some tiling done.
Most of the equipment in the kitchen will be brand new (cooker, chargrill, prepfridge, etc..), but having said that, the one or two bits we're keeping did need a good clean as well!
The deep fat fryer took me two days on it's own!

The conservatory has been redecorated, we've got rid of the khaki paint- it suddenly dawnwd on me, it looked like a German army NAAFI!!!!!!
And I'm off Monday in the search for new furniture.
It's all go at the moment!!!!!!

With what we're spending at the moment, I think we'll need a ten grand opening!!!!!!!

Sounds like your onto a winner anyway Dave so i'm guessing the debt will get repaid eventually (i'll do my bit anyway!!).
